LAHORE – The rest of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2025 matches will begin on May 17, announced Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi in a statement on Tuesday.
“I share with you a glimpse of the road ahead,” Naqvi wrote on X in a post. “HBL PSL X continues where it had stopped! 6 teams, 0 fear. Let the aura engulf us as we come together and rejoice the cricket spirit”.
Prepare yourself for 8 exciting matches from 17th May, building up to the Grand Final on 25th May. Good luck to all the teams!” he also added.
It was remembered that the remaining matches of PSL 2025 were delayed as a result of war between India and Pakistan.
Conversely, PCB has unveiled the revival of men’s local cricket matches after a short delay in view of the current scenario in the nation.
The Regional Intra-District Challenge Cup and Inter-District U19 One-Day Tournament, which were affected by the delay, will resume from today, and competitive cricket will keep happening at the ground level. Also, the President’s Trophy Grade II, which was impacted by the delay, will resume operations from 14 May.
Quarter-finals of the tournament will be conducted between 19 and 21 May, and the semi-finals will be conducted between 24 and 26 May.
The tournament final will be conducted between 28 and 31 May.
