LAHORE – Federal Government has asked provincial governments to register cases against persons involved in dancing to Indian music in any theater.
The federal information minister took notice of lewd performance during stage plays. He issued orders that anyone who dances on Indian music at any theater, a case be registered against such person.
The federal government has also directed that a case be lodged against the producer for any indecent performance.
The government has already prohibited the exhibition of Indian films in Pakistan and the broadcast of Indian songs on FM radio, as a reaction to the Indian government’s aggression against Pakistan.
The steps have been taken to counter the global hegemony agenda of the Hindutva-led Indian regime.
The build-up also follows a recent escalation between India and Pakistan when the neighboring nation undertook unprovoked attacks in various cities of Pakistan.
Pakistan retaliated by conducting Operation Bunyan-un-Marsoos that destroyed several Indian airbases, military facilities, and shot down six fighter aircraft.
After Pakistan’s appropriate response, the US was able to secure a cease fire agreement between the two nuclear-capable nations.
Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, on Thursday, made a statement that the ceasefire between Pakistan and India has been extended until May 18.
